This resource is an extension of my decades-long mentoring of next-generation church, parachurch, and campus ministry leaders. Through sharing experiences, asking questions, and reflecting on how the past impacts the interior life, the reader will be encouraged to trust the Holy Spirit's leadings for their own challenging circumstances in living their faith adventure. Each chapter includes a personal experience of mine, including a call to ministry, a failed church plant, and the spiritual practice of picking up trash. At the end of each chapter, I describe an internal challenge and how God met me in it. I then engage the younger leader to consider the implications for themselves through further resources and thought-provoking questions.
