Lewis Allen (DPhil, University of Oxford) pastored Gunnersbury Baptist Church in London for over twelve years, and in 2010, was called to plant what is now Hope Church in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, where he is the senior pastor. He is the author of several books, including Resilient Faith: Learning to Rely on Jesus in the Struggles of Life and The Glory of Grace: An Introduction to the Puritans in Their Own Words. Allen is married with five adult children.
