David Shulman is Associate Professor of Sociology at Lafayette College. His teaching and research interests include symbolic interaction, impression management, organizations, and the workplace. David is the co-author, with John P. Hewitt, of Self and Society: A Symbolic Interactionist Social Psychology, 11th Edition (Pearson). His other published works include From Hire to Liar: The Role of Deception in the Workplace From Hire to Liar: The Role of Deception in the Workplace (ILR Press/Cornell University Press).
