Autorenporträt
Lin Butler is a father and grandfather who wanted his children and grandchildren to know how the wonderful tradition of carving a pumpkin at Halloween may have begun. Here is a tale of parents and children who came to know and trust a stranger in their hour of need. Lin was born and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He went to college at Manchester University in Indiana and later attended Bethany Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. He has been a community organizer, social worker, counselor, and instructor in Baltimore, Maryland, and a manager and chaplain in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Over the years, Lin has learned to appreciate deep listening and the telling of a good story.
