In The Rain I Love, love falls like rain, soaking every heart in a mesmerizing tale of passion, sacrifice, and destiny. Set against the vibrant backdrop of an Indian city, this young adult romantic drama follows a Aarav's unyielding devotion to the girl who holds his heart, Aasna, despite a rival's claim, that would be Yash, and tangled family ties. As emotions cascade like a monsoon, hidden secrets and unexpected twists reshape their paths, testing the power of selfless love. Inspired by Bollywood's timeless romances, Sahil Jeet Singh weaves a dialogue-driven saga where rain becomes a metaphor for love's joys and sorrows. With every heartfelt exchange, the story explores whether fate can unite two souls against all odds, leaving readers breathless in a whirlwind of hope and heartbreak.
Sahil Jeet Singh hails from a city of historic value, Cuttack, in the eastern state of Odisha. He writes poems and shorts stories as a hobby, but his hobby turned into passion when he began writing this story. This marks as his first novel, a story which is inspired from his love for old school romantic films which encapsulates both the cultural touch of India and modern forms of rebellious, selfless love. Sahil has done his Bachelors and Masters in Sociology, which allows him to explore the institutions like love, family and marriage more vividly than usual. This is his first long story, and he aims to write more, publish more of his works in coming future, and explore many more genres other than romance. This genre is close to his heart, and he dedicates this story to all the lovers, who love whole-heartedly, selflessly, and inspire others to love.
