The sexual violence suffered by pupils in Togo's schools at the hands of their peers and teachers has critical consequences for their schooling, compromising their future. To intensify the existing regulatory framework and maintain the best possible provisions for children's education, the Council of Ministers of July 6, 2022 analyzed and adopted the proposed law on the preservation of learners against sexual assault in Togo. The aim of this study is to analyse the sexual violence suffered by pupils from their peers and teachers in secondary schools, the associated factors and behavioural disorders. Our sample consists of 724 male and female students aged 13 to 20. Our hypothesis is that sexual violence and its associated factors influence the behaviour of schoolchildren in Togo. A questionnaire and interview survey helped to test this proposition.
