The relevance of the school library in the reading satisfaction of 4th grade students at the Moderna Júnior school in Macapá, Amapá - Brazil. The problem presented is: what is the contribution of the school library to the reading satisfaction of 4th grade students? Based on this problem, we established the hypothesis that the school library contributes satisfactorily to the reading of 4th grade students. In order to reaffirm or deny it, a scientific methodology was adopted based on a qualitative-quantitative approach, a mixed model, of the descriptive type. Its technical procedure is a non-experimental, cross-sectional survey. Standardised data collection techniques were used to provide information for the research work, using a questionnaire with open and closed questions with two or more alternatives to choose from, developed with a population of 108, which is the universe. The methodology provides access to scientific and empirical information related to the issue of the relevance of the school library, based on the research data, this contribution provides an incentive for students to value the role of the School Library more.
