Continuing to chronicle the exploits and adventures of the crew of the Pegasus, child author Eliza Crooks takes us on a voyage of peril, drama, true love, and ultimately, revenge. The Stowaways take on new crew members, new challenges, and new escapades. Written when Eliza Crooks was eleven years old, "The Voyage of the Pegasus" cleverly invited a sequel. Now, having just turned fourteen, Eliza has completed "The Return of the Cobra" and hints at even more to come!

Eliza Crooks is the unique child author of the Pegasus trilogy. Book one, "The Voyage of the Pegasus", consists of twenty-two chapters, and was written and illustrated by Eliza when she was eleven years old. Book two, "The Return of the Cobra", is a twenty-five chapter book, also illustrated, and was released just after she turned fourteen. Book three, "The Ocean of Secrets", is the completion of her trilogy, consisting of twenty-nine chapters, and beautifully illustrated. Eliza makes her home in middle Tennessee. She has attended the same school since pre-K, completed its School of Logic and is currently a student in its School of Rhetoric. While she excels in her studies, she devotes as much time as she can to writing works of fiction. Eliza is interested in many things: chess, art, music, songwriting, animals (the furrier, the better) and spending time with her little sister, Evie. She enjoys outdoor activities that involve bike riding, hammocks, hiking, and bonfires. Eliza is academically gifted, and is a member of her school's student council committee. Eliza is always up for a good debate.
