Edgar Wallace (1875-1932), British author and one of the most prolific writers of crime novels, was one of the first to introduce police officers as investigators. Over the course of his career, he wrote more than 170 books and worked on the script for the legendary movie King Kong. Dr. Mark Benecke, geb. 1970, weltbekannter Kriminalbiologe und Spezialist für forensische Entomologie, war an der Aufklärung zahlreicher internationaler Kriminalfälle beteiligt. Sein Fachwissen, u. a. zur Auswertung von Blutspritzmustern, gab er viele Jahre in seinem Podcast Der Benecke bei RadioEins zum Besten. Er ist erfolgreicher Autor, zuletzt erschien Kat Menschiks und des Diplom-Biologen Doctor Rerum Medicinalium Mark Beneckes illustrirtes Thierleben.
