Thus, the qualification and permanent updating (both technical and didactic-pedagogical) of the teaching staff is essential for the comprehensive training of dental surgeons. The aim of this study was to assess the perception of undergraduate dental students and teachers regarding the role of the teacher in the teaching-learning process.

She has a degree in Dentistry from the State University of Western Paraná (2001) and a master's degree in Collective Health from the State University of Londrina (2005). She is currently a dental surgeon for the Municipality of Cascavel and a lecturer in the subjects of Collective Oral Health Care, Collective Health II and Supervised Internship in the Multi-Children's Clinic at UNIPAR.
