Mesut Uyar is a Professorial Fellow at the University of New South Wales, Canberra. His most recent books are The Ottoman Army and the First World War (2021) and Phase Line Attila: The Amphibious Campaign for Cyprus, 1974 (2020). Edward J. Erickson is a retired Professor of Military History from the Department of War Studies at the Marine Corps University. His books include Phase Line Attila: The Amphibious Campaign for Cyprus, 1974 (2020) and The Turkish War of Independence, A Military History 1919-1923 (2021)
