Anthony Elliott is Director of the Hawke Research Institute and Executive Director of the Hawke EU Centre, where he is Research Professor of Sociology at the University of South Australia. He is Visiting Global Professor of Sociology at Keio University, Japan and Visiting Professor of Sociology at UCD, Ireland. His recent books include Concepts of the Self (3E, 2014), Psychoanalytic Theory: An Introduction (3E, 2015) and Identity (4 volumes, 2015). Jeffrey Prager is a Professor of Sociology at UCLA, former Dean and Senior Faculty member of the New Center for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles and in private practice in Beverly Hills. His published research is on social repair in Post-conflict societies, cross-generational transmission of trauma, and American racism and reparations. He is the author of many books and articles, including the award-winning Presenting the Past, Psychoanalysis and the Sociology of Misremembering (Harvard).
