Now available in English for the first time. "One cannot discover new oceans unless one has the courage to lose sight of the shore." After a crushing disappointment at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Munich, top chef Luisa is forced to rethink everything. Haunted by doubts about her future and her complicated relationship with her mother, she takes a leap of faith and moves to Barcelona to take over her cousin's restaurant. But there's a catch-her first love, Aurelio, is now her business partner. Two culinary worlds collide: refined gourmet cuisine meets the bold, rustic flavors of Catalan cooking. As they battle over the menu, passion rekindles-in the kitchen and beyond. But when mysterious events begin to threaten her career and reputation, Luisa must question everything. Is Aurelio working against her, or is he the ally she so desperately needs? Determined to prove herself, Luisa fights for her restaurant and her dream. But will she find success on her own terms? And can love triumph over ambition and mistrust? A heartwarming and passionate novel filled with love, culinary intrigue, and the vibrant flavors of Barcelona.
