Jessie Vong is an emerging artist and poet, currently pursuing Art Therapy studies at the College of Complementary Medicine in NSW, Australia, a journey she began in October 2024. With a passion for creativity and mental health advocacy, Jessie's work bridges the worlds of art and healing, inspired by her deep belief that art is "food for the soul."Her poetry journey began when her art therapy lecturers recognized her talent and encouraged her to publish a book combining insightful verses with her personable hand-drawn illustrations. This creative endeavor reflects her dedication to expressing abstract thoughts and emotions, encouraging readers to reflect, grow, and discover new perspectives.Jessie holds a Certificate IV in Mental Health and Post Graduate Studies in Counselling and plans to further her studies in Art Therapy. Her compassionate and empathetic nature is evident in her work, which often explores themes of calmness, contemporary ideas, and postmodern romanticism.
