Autorenporträt
Thank you for purchasing my book. As a Black American woman born and raised in Philadelphia, I was inspired to write this book after experiencing my first heartbreak in high school. Since I have always struggles to express my emotions verbally, poetry became my outlet. It has been instrumental in my personal growth as a well-rounded individual. Growing up, music and art provided me with solace and joy, which ultimately led to the creation of this poetry book.
