Lisa grew up in Rocky Mount, VA, where her treasured parents taught her love for God, family and the outdoors. She and her husband, Ron, along with three sons, moved to Burlington, NC in 1996 where Lisa and Ron still live. They enjoy hiking and spending time with family, especially their precious grandchildren.Lisa shared her heart thru poetry from an early age. She has been writing stories for the past several years that she shares at Christmas gatherings, then tucks them away. After leaving a forty-year career, she felt moved to pursue the call to share her stories. Her hope is to live each day with grace and compassion. To share the light that was lit in her a long time ago thru her life and her stories.
