"The Silent Epidemic: Quest For A Cure chronicles the distinguished academic career of neuroscientist Michel Baudry, a story of the ecstatic ups and awful downs of a life wading through the research trenches. Baudry's particular trenches led, dimly at times, to an explanation of a group of enzymes called calpains.
