The sky islands have always floated safely above the endless cloud sea, home to unicorn herds, Pegasus riders, and ancient dragon watchers. But when the Skyborn Crown , the relic said to keep the balance between air, sea, and land, is stolen, the islands begin to crumble and fall into the mist, lost forever. Kaelen, a humble stablehand with a hidden past, and Seris, a bold Pegasus rider seeking to restore her family's honor, are thrown together on a perilous quest. From storm-swept ruins to elven forests sinking into the clouds, they must battle sky pirates, outwit a tyrant, and uncover the truth behind the masked riders who haunt the skies. In a world on the brink of collapse, courage will mean everything, and the fate of the skies may rest in the hands of those least expected.
Autorenporträt
Luna Duval is the pen name of a lifelong daydreamer who calls a coastal city home. When she's not lost in fantasy novels, she's writing stories about brave hearts, curious minds, and unexpected adventures. The Crownless Quest is her debut novel, but far from her last. Luna is currently writing a cozy mystery series called Maple Glade Murder Mysteries, blending quaint village charm with clever whodunits. Having won a short story prize in her youth, Luna finally found the courage (with a gentle nudge from her mom) to write a full novel in her late thirties. She's living proof that it's never too late to follow a dream, or chase a mischievous sprite into an enchanted forest.
