Autorenporträt

Getro Bernabé is a multilingual poet, educator, and former officer in the Haitian Coast Guard. He currently works as an adult educator with the Literacy Council of Southwestern Pennsylvania and serves as a community liaison with the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. His poetry has been published in Fant Janm Lavi (Media-Texte, Ed. Choucoune, 2014) and Gouyad Satan (Media-Texte, Ed. Choucoune, 2017). With a background in social communication and extensive leadership training, Bernabé offers a global perspective in his writing. Fluent in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Spanish, he bridges cultures through his rich experiences in maritime service, language instruction, and community engagement.
