For some time now, environmental protection and the sustainable improvement of agriculture have been a challenge for their handlers. Particularly in the fathers' crossroads area, waste management methods and the use of organic fertilizers are being neglected. This leads to serious health problems and low agricultural yields due to soil pollution. In this sense, these problems generally prompt us to analyze the socio-economic and environmental impacts of compost manufacturing by Haiti Compost Business (HCB) in order to gain a better understanding of the phenomenon of waste collection and composting, and to analyze the effects of HCB in the Carrefour des Pères area. The methodology used to achieve this objective includes bibliographic and web-based research, field surveys, data collection, data processing and analysis. In this way, recommendations are made to the company itself (HCB), to other similar institutions, to agronomists and technicians, and to local residents and state authorities.
