Autorenporträt
Zelinda Cohen wurde auf den Kapverden geboren und wuchs in Brasilien auf, wo sie an der Universität von São Paulo einen Abschluss in Geschichte machte. Sie hat einen Master-Abschluss der Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Sie ist Mitautorin der Bände II und III Allgemeine Geschichte der Kapverden und Autorin mehrerer wissenschaftlicher Artikel, die in Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht wurden. Von 2008 bis 2016 war sie Präsidentin des CNDHC der Kapverden.
