Shireen Anne Jeejeebhoy is an artist, author, and blogger. She obtained a B.Sc. in psychology from the University of Toronto, launched into writing and coding, and slammed and somersaulted into the unknown life of brain injury. She revised her 2012 memoir Concussion Is Brain Injury in 2017, subtitling it Treating the Neurons and Me. Taking advantage of pandemic time, she launched a website of the same name, sharing research and learnings on the neurophysiology of brain injury, how to diagnose it appropriately, and how to treat it effectively. Jeejeebhoy is a Psychology Today blogger and has also written several novels, spanning the gamut from urban fantasy to time travel, starring young and not-so-young women and featuring Toronto as a character.
