Get ready for battle with the help of a former Special Ops serviceman in this insightful devotional training guide to spiritual warfare. Courage, Dedication, Discipline: three words often associated with the brave men and women who put their lives on the line as members of the armed forces. But in times of combat, it takes more than bravery. Every great soldier knows preparation is the key to victory. But how do we prepare for the battle for our souls? When it comes to spiritual warfare, training is also key. So, when the enemy nears, we are ready to respond. In The Spec Ops Airborne School, former Special Ops soldier Stan "Baggy" Bagwell shows us how to serve God in times of spiritual warfare and emerge victorious in the face of temptation. Designed specifically for the discipleship training and development of Elite Special Operations Soldiers of Jesus Christ, this insightful guide is based on the three phases of The United States Army Airborne School also known as Jump School. Drawing from his own military training, Baggy conveys the importance of God's spiritual challenge with a no-nonsense approach. Through each phase of this faith-based training program, we are taught how to prepare for battle, and as we gain a better understanding of God's Word, we become ready to take our place in the ranks of God's Army, confident in our mission to walk in God's light and spread the gospel's message with the world.
Chaplain Stan "Baggy" Bagwell is a former US Army serviceman and member of the Special Forces ODA-383. He is the recipient of a Bronze Star and served as an airborne jump master instructor. A leader of a veterans & 1st responders Bible study ministry, he is passionate about helping men break the chains of addiction with love, grace, and God's word. He is also active in homelessness outreach and prison and detention center ministries. A self-described sheep dog of the lost, he is a devoted chaplain, mentor, husband, father, friend, and loyal Spec Ops soldier of Jesus Christ.
