Angela Sarafin currently is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) certified therapist, and NeuroGraphica Specialist. She graduated with a Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Behavioral Science - Family Therapy from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2007 and completed her counseling practicum at a substance abuse treatment center working with both the individuals and families. She continued her post-graduate work in an early-intervention program for at-risk youth, serving as both counselor and program director. After leaving the non-profit world she opened a private practice in Houston, TX in 2011 where she offered faith-based counseling and mentoring. She started a second practice after her husband's job relocated them to Washington, DC in 2015. She particularly enjoys working with clients who are seeking recovery from trauma, dealing with women's issues and individuals who seeking clarity in life. Her unique way of providing creative, faith-based trauma therapy has facilitated healing and spiritual development for many clients over the years.
