Autorenporträt
Pope St. John Paul II (1920-2005) was a giant in the twentieth-century Catholic Church. A philosopher, theologian, poet, and dramatist, he called for a "New Evangelization" in the modern world and, through his writings and papacy, established the model by which the Church could answer that call. He was canonized by Pope Francis in 2014.
