When war steals peace from fourteen-year-old Yasmin's life in Damascus, she finds unexpected friendship, quiet strength, and the light of faith in the darkest nights. With her brother missing and danger rising, Yasmin and a Qur'an-loving boy named Tariq journey from the rubble of Syria toward refuge-and hope. Guided by stars, prayer, and courage, The Star Over Damascus is a powerful young adult tale of spiritual resilience, the bonds of Muslim friendship, and finding light even when the world falls apart.
