Dunn, Grace Grote, and Nancy Axelrad are all real people who write under the name Laura Lee Hope. Laura Lee Hope was used as a pen name for the first time when the Bobbsey Twins came out in 1904. The Bobbsey Twins, along with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys, were some of the most well-known characters that the Stratemeyer Literary Syndicate made. The twins Bobbsey Laura Lee Hope - The Bobbsey Twins go to Meadowbrook to visit their aunt, uncle, and cousins on their farm. While there, they get to go to an auction and explore the countryside.
