Melissa Orkin is an educator and developmental psychologist who specialises in literacy achievement. Melissa has served as a researcher and instructor at Tufts University. As the director of the educational consulting group Crafting Minds, Melissa collaborates with educators across New England and lives with her family in the Boston area. Sarah Gannon is a former third grade (Year 4) teacher, reading specialist, literacy coach and Orton-Gillingham practitioner. In her current role as co-director of Crafting Minds, Sarah translates educational research into practical strategies and curriculum resources for teachers. She resides outside of Boston with her husband and three children. Alexandria Osburn has enjoyed her career as a special educator, reading specialist, literacy coach and Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner. She is passionate about translating research to practice and creating educator-friendly Structured Literacy resources. Alex lives on Lake Winnipesaukee with her loving husband.
