Happy was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina where she began drawing and writing near-daily since she could pick up a pencil. The Thousand Deaths of Number Thirteen is her first published comic series and the result of years of practice and planning. Happy now lives with her husband and son in Colorado, where she continues to write and create art every day.
