Originally from Oxford, England, Steve Cartlidge emigrated in 2005 and now lives in Adelaide, Australia. He has three children, the youngest of whom, Charlie, is the inspiration for this book. Steve is also a doting grandfather to two amazing little boys and a dog parent to Frankie, his miniature dachshund. He has spent almost four decades in the insurance industry, holds an MBA and various other qualifications, none of which prepared him for life as a children's author.
