Autorenporträt
Kim Weber was born in 2008 in Hünfeld/Germany, and learned early on that stories are not only told, but felt. Her debut novel, The Tree We Planted, blends warmth, melancholy, and the feeling of home into a story that speaks not only about people, but also about what remains unspoken between them. Inspired by quiet moments that speak louder than dialogue, she writes with a language that leaves space for images, memories, and whatever the reader wishes to place within it. Outside of writing, she loves reading, baking, travelling, the sea or going out with friends, things that sometimes find their way into her stories. With The Tree We Planted, Kim Weber invites readers to take their time; with reading, with feeling, and with all the things we sometimes forget in daily life. To read her work is to be offered not just a story, but to encounter what connects us as human beings.
