Canadian-born author Lyn Steinberg grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia with only a turtle and goldfish for pets. She always dreamed of being a nurse, artist, wife, and mother surrounded by children and animals. After a career in nursing and raising five children, she was ready for the next adventure. Despite having no experience with farm animals, Lyn and her husband created their own bustling menagerie of sheep, chickens, ducks, llamas, dogs, and cats.
