At United Middle School, the ordinary never stays ordinary for long. One day the morning announcements serve up helium spaghetti, the next day lockers change colors overnight. When statues vanish, sneezes spread like wildfire, and secret notes spark confusion, only one group can crack the case: the Young Investigators Club. With quick thinking, quirky clues, and plenty of laughs, Jake, Max, Emily, Amy and their friends Chip and Mia prove that even the strangest mysteries can be solved-one clue at a time. Perfect for readers who love twists, teamwork, and a whole lot of schoolyard chaos.

Autorenporträt
About the Author E. J. Rohly grew up on a farm in rural Ohio, where her imagination had plenty of room to run wild. As a kid, she loved making up stories-especially when she babysat and could share her tales with the kids she watched. Sometimes, she even let them produce their own endings! Making up stories is still one of her favorite things to do. Esther went to school to learn more about teaching kids, and she became a preschool teacher, where she has spent years creating fun ways for little ones to learn and grow. As her family grew, she took literature classes to get better at writing, hoping to author her own books. Now, she is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and continues to learn new things through writing classes. Today, she is busy writing mysteries and adventures to spark imagination, just like her own love of stories sparked years ago on her family's farm.
