Erika Burton graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University. A survivor of childhood sexual and psychological abuse, she spends her time writing and counselling others who want to holistically heal trauma. She is an advocate for holistic healing, both on a personal and global level. She is a homeschooling and homesteading mother to six children and speaks on the journey of healing while parenting. What once she thought would define her, now she works to help those who have similar struggles find healing and wholeness too. From an eating disorder to self-harm to debilitating nightmares and panic attacks, the author write from a place of authenticity, spreading hope and holistic healing. Her heart-felt mission is expose the dark truths about abuse and bring healing to all.
