Born and raised in Ségou, Mali, he is the son of El Hadj Saad Oumar Toure and a former student of Medersah Sébil El Falah, where his father's teachings shaped his early life.Now based in the United States, Mahamadou continues his father's legacy through writing, cultural preservation, and educational initiatives. He is the founder of BabouConnect Publishing, where he produces children's books, historical works, and spiritual reflections that celebrate family values, women's resilience, and West African intellectual tradition.His mission is to document stories that matter-stories that build identity, strengthen community, and honor the generations that came before us.
