Produktbeschreibung
Whether you are a clinician struggling to help your client's, or an individual wanting to heal and grow, reading this book will profoundly change your perspective about the nature of resistance. This book was inspired by the author's personal struggle to understand the meaning and value of her own resistance. Based in humanistic, existential, and transpersonal perspectives, this investigation paves the way for a more encompassing view of transformation and self-realization by taking us into the actual experience of resistance, mind, body, and spirit, from the participant perspective. This in-depth look at resistance includes the author's model of transformation from an ego-driven, resistant state of consciousness, to a higher-self driven, open state of consciousness. Ultimately, resistance is revealed to be valuable as a guide in the healing process.
