American actor Wesley Snipes, best known for action films such as Demolition Man, Drop Zone, and Passenger 57, is a favorite among comic book fans for his work as the star, writer, and producer of the Blade franchise (the first major film adaptation of a Marvel Comics character). His connection to the world of comic books runs deep and, despite over two decades of history connecting him to Blade fans, his work on The Exiled represents his first original creator-owned comic book project.
