Three boys forced to go camping together because their dads are friends have a series of hilarious mishaps in the wilderness and stumble upon a local legend in this side-splitting middle grade misadventure—now with a brand-new look! Wilderness Survival Tip: Proceed with caution—one wrong move can send you wildly off path… All Paul Adams wants to do on his first day of summer vacation is sleep in. Instead, he’s up at 6:30 AM, heading on a father-son camping trip with his dad, his dad’s two friends from college, and their sons, Hector and Jack. Paul just knows this weekend is probably the worst idea ever, considering none of them have ever camped before. One thing all the boys are interested in is the legend of Bear Falls, which claims that a young photographer went into the park to prove a mythical beast lived there—and never returned. But it’s clear a supposed beast is the least of their problems. The trip gets off to a rough start complete with Jack barfing on Paul before they even set up camp—and the trip goes hilariously downhill from there. Facing all kinds of obstacles both natural and man-made, the three boys finally discover the truth about the Beast, but can they all make it back out of the park in one piece?
