A brutal marriage. A haunted forest. A flower that remembers the moon. Becca's life is a ritual of silence, perfection, and fear. Trapped under the thumb of an abusive husband, she finds solace only in the rhythm of cleaning and the terror of avoiding punishment. But when a violent night forces her into the dark woods beyond her home, she stumbles upon an ancient clearing-and a mythical flower that will change her forever. As her body begins to shift in ways she can't understand, Becca is drawn into a primal world of memory, instinct, and rage. The Moon Wolf Flower doesn't just bloom-it awakens. And so does Becca. The Wolf's Last Memory is a psychological and supernatural horror novel about trauma, survival, and the monstrous strength we bury to stay alive. Lush, terrifying, and visceral, it's perfect for fans of The Only Good Indians, The Babadook, and Mexican Gothic.
Finn Vilhosson is a guy who spends his days working in manufacturing and his nights trying to craft pulse-pounding thrillers and horror tales-because sleep is overrated. His debut novel, "The Wolf's Last Memory," clawed its way into bookstores in January 2025, marking the beginning of his sinister plan to keep readers awake long after bedtime. A born and raised Yooper resident of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Finn shares his life with his patient family, who pretend to tolerate his obsession with fictional murders and monsters. A lifelong book addict, he blames his mom for introducing him, at a young age, to the gateway drug known as reading. When not plotting devious twists or conjuring creepy villains, Finn spends his time yelling at sports teams on TV, dissecting the plotlines of epic shows like Ozark and The Sopranos, or diving headfirst into movie marathons until reality reminds him of his responsibilities.
