Autorenporträt
Clare Stubbs was born the Kent, United Kingdom in the 1970s. She developed a love of animals and a curiosity about the world around her before she could walk. Her desire to find things out culminated with a PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London. Having published a number of academic articles, The World of Tiny Clare series is her first foray into children's books. Clare was diagnosed with Autism as an adult and currently works as a schoolteacher but still makes time for Nature. It is so important, now more than ever, that young people appreciate the natural world, different environments, and the plants and animals around them. Clare hopes that The World of Tiny Clare series will instill in her readers a love of wildlife that turns today's Tiny Clares and Little Hisses into tomorrow's stewards protecting Nature.
