The aim of this book is to demonstrate how the surviving works of Sophocles promoted Athenian democracy in the 5th century B.C. Angel NGON A BETCHEM é licenciado em Letras Clássicas pela École Normale Supérieure de Yaoundé I. Trabalha no liceu de Oveng-Mbankomo, na região de MEFOU Et AKONO, desde 2012. Estudante atento de línguas antigas, está também inscrito numa dissertação em literatura francesa moderna, com especialização em clássicos, na Universidade de Yaoundé I.
