Rory Blas goes to New Orleans to open the Garden District house his wife, Tess, inherited from her grandmother, Emma Darling. A series of strange events and dreams launch him on a journey to find evidence linking King Arthur and his knights to foreshadow the Second Coming of Christ. Emma's will brings an eclectic group together to carry out her mandate for the Thistle Society. College friends who have gone separate ways, a soothsayer, and a neighbor pledge to partake in a cause greater than themselves. Arthurian artifacts in Emma's keeping are sent to Rome to be housed in the Vatican by the Thistle Foundation. Rory's quest takes him to Rome, Wales, and the Holy Land. The themes of the story are renewal of faith and forgiveness.

Rosemary Biggio is a retired high school
teacher, a college professor, a blogger, a
reviewer, and an online and print writer
of both nonfiction and fiction. She is the
author of Crockpot Cooking, a collection
of her short stories and poetry.

Her commentary pieces have appeared in
the Press of Atlantic City, the Star Herald of
the Camden Diocese, and on her blog www.marinate.blogspot.com: Caution:
Leans right.

Readings and papers have been delivered at the Vineland Public Library and
the Philadelphia Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is a facilitator of the New Jersey Writers Society, Vineland Chapter, and a
member of Critique Circle.

Rosemary Biggio was born, raised, and overeducated in Brooklyn, New York,
but left the Big Apple for the Garden State, where she resides with a roommate
and a cocker spaniel named Frankie. She has a PhD in medieval literature from
St. John's University, Queens, New York.
