The "Horne Album" contains 48 drawings of Giambattista Tiepolo (1696-1770), 26 of which are on display in the Museo Horne's exibition (Florence, 8th November 2016 - 19th February 2017). The drawings depict allegorical and mythological figures, scenes inspired by ancient history and capriccios, almost all of them drawn in ink over black chalk outlines using fluid brushstrokes and varying the concentration of the ink in order to achieve some astonishing chiaroscuro effects.
