Timed Framed is a suspenseful paranormal/sci-fi novel about a revered American family pitted against each other in a vicious battle to determine who will be the victim of a ravaging multi-generational family curse dating back to the Mayflower. The fate and fortune of the family hangs in the balance. Time Framed combines elements of The Witching Hour (a multigenerational family curse), Ready Player One (a virtual battle for self-preservation under the oppression of a political dystopia) and both Stephen King's The Dead Zone and 11.22.63 (an ominous urgency to deter the inevitability of a disastrous future). This thought-provoking, riveting work weaves together science, technology, and politico-economic fears, alongside timeless themes of hauntings, curses and the fragility of family pride.
Autorenporträt
Eclectic is a word that aptly defines Roger Chiocchi. Constantly questioning, How does it work?, Chiocchi graduated from the Wharton School (MBA) with distinction. He then rose through the ranks at mega-agency, Young & Rubicam, to Senior VP where he ran the advertising campaigns for Advil, TWA, AT&T, Sears (the Softer Side of Sears campaign), among others. He then went on to eventually become President of Y&R subsidiary, The Lord Group, where he helped transition NYNEX to Bell Atlantic then to Verizon, while bringing in new accounts like The Sports Authority, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, and HIP Health Plans. Throughout his life - going back to High School - he had a passion for writing. In his spare time he wrote the fictional ghost story Mean Spirits which rose to number one in its genre on Amazon.com. He followed up with a work of non-fiction, Baby Boomer Bust? How the generation of promise became the generation of panic, detailing the impact of the 2008/2009 recession on that generation. He then went on to become a partner in Connecticut agency, Brandloft, where he let his creative juices flow, winning awards as a copywriter on the agency's work for iUniverse and the Heavy Putter and making creative contributions on all of the agency's accounts. He then went on to found RFPalooza, the pre-eminent website for ad agencies searching for RFPs. Chiocchi regards himself as a perpetual student, constantly scouring YouTube for lectures on astrophysics, quantum mechanics and human consciousness and whatever else suits his fancy next. But why not? His appetite for knowledge is eclectic.
