Scott Hartshorn is an attorney by training and has degrees in history, politics and the law. He has been a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney for 30 years. He and his wife Anne have been married for 33 years and have two children. Scott is a member of Mystery Writers of America, The Historical Novel Society, and of Sisters in Crime Writers Society.
