A tale told with irony and dark humour, of lost love found, new quests inspired and a mountain with soul. This tragicomic wedding story is set in New Zealand, in a mountainous region where nature runs rampant. The book makes the observation that all things are connected above and below the conscious planes. Thus a casual decision can have bast consequences. As Maori legend and European myth collide, it seems that sometimes it takes moving a mountain to find happiness.
