Tal¿Tovy¿is a senior lecturer¿at Bar-Ilan¿University in Israel. He holds a PhD in history from the University of Haifa. A veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, Dr.¿Tovy¿has published extensively on a variety of military history topics, including the influence of counterinsurgency theory upon American combat operations.
