Autorenporträt

Joyce McClanahan, a retired teacher, lives in Richland, Washington with her cat and a collection of children's books. She has always enjoyed children's literature and story telling. Joyce was a founding member of The Eastern Washington Watercolor Society and served as its president several times. Her background includes teaching, adventure trips backpacking in the Cascade Mountains, and sailing the waters of the Coumbia River to Alaska in a small boat. Her paintings reflect this wide background and love of wildness. They have been regularly included and have won awards in national juried shows.
