Herb Cohen is a registered, nationally board-certified, and licensed Creative Arts Therapist. He is certified in EMDR and is an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant. He is also certified in clinical Hypnotherapy and has studied Brainspotting and sensory experiencing and sensorimotor therapies. Herb has completed a postgraduate certification in addiction. Cohen is also a certified ADD/ADHD provider. Currently, he is managing a compassion-based transpersonal psychotherapy practice specializing in trauma, eating disorders, and addiction. His work has become more spiritually informed as events in his life shifted in that direction.Cohen's foundational study in fine arts taught him to always utilize mindfulness in his clinical work and to view any problem intuitively, asking the right questions to achieve deeper understanding. He has studied and practiced tai chi, Qigong, Reiki, Awakening the Light Body, and other energy-based meditation practices. Cohen has a YouTube channel called "Herb Cohen Flow," and in addition to writing, he loves photography and painting.
