Torie-Torie and the Formaldehyde Brothers, A Spunky Skunk Story, 2nd Edition is the upgraded version of a humorous action-adventure narrative written in free rhyme poetry and spiced with comical illustrations. This folk tale walks with the extraordinary. Take one endearing skunk with a fighting bull fetish, add two rank Western wranglers, sprinkle rose petals from a daring damsel, then throw in a town full of sturdy hardy country folk and they all end up with one humdinger of a story to tell. This tantalizing tale rests where the Old West meets one surprising past tense experience. Upgraded extras include new added illustrations, unique resizing to compliment the illustrations, and even a section on the story behind the story. With her grandchildren in mind, the author designed this bouncy book geared for children 5 thru and the child within us grownups. Using a life-long interest in poetry, painting and stage performance, along with an actual encounter with a Western striped skunk, the author created a story meant to be enjoyed.
